
Student Scholarship
The Lone Star Emmy Educational Foundation proudly offers a scholarship program for college students pursuing a career in the television industry.
The 2010 winner is Nicole Sanseverino, a graduate of Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. She is pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. She aspires to be a broadcast reporter.

Looking for a way to help pay some of your college costs? The Lone Star
EMMY Ecucational Foundation proudly
offers a scholarship program for college students pursuing a career in the
television industry. Lone Star EMMY will award scholarships of up to $2,000
each to qualified students chosen by our Scholarship Committee.
To be considered for a scholarship, a student must meet the following eligibility
requirements:
- Student must be in good standing (not on academic probation) with a
minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Student must be currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning
in the State of Texas at a sophomore level or above.
- Student must be majoring in Radio, Television, Film, Broadcast Journalism,
or other related major.
All applications must be postmarked by June 4, 2011 to be eligible
for consideration. Awards will be announced in October, and selected
scholarship recipients will have the scholarship credited to their
respective university account payable in equal installments for the
fall and spring semesters. Eligible students should forward applications
